The signing andunveiling ceremony of Dalian University of Technology and ZhangzidaoCompany underwater robot joint laboratory was held in the main building Room 512 on the afternoon of April 1st. According to the agreement, DUT and Zhangzidao Company will establish a cooperative relation.
Before the signing ceremony, President Guo Dongming met with Wu Hougang, the chairman of Zhangzidao Company in the main building Room 312. Luo Zhongxuan, the assistant of president and responsible people of Technology Research Institute attended the meeting.
Mr. Guo welcomed Wu Hougang's visit and said that building a underwater robot laboratory reflected the complementary advantages of cooperation and the principle of common development between the two sides. He believed that cooperation must bring industrial upgrading by doing research on new technology to realize the combination between marine equipment automation and company advantage resources and enhance the innovation ability of marine science and technology.
Chairman Wu said thanks to the strong support of Dalian University of Technology and expressed that this cooperation has injected vitality into the continuous development of Zhangzidao Company. This will be helpful to enhance the economic information industry, the level of intelligence and bring more opportunities for the development of industrial equipment upgrading. Zhangzidao Company is willing to make efforts to promote the construction of intelligent marine industry in China, together with Dalian University of Technology.
After the meeting, vice president Song Yongchen and Chairman Wu Hougang signed the agreement on behalf of both sides. The assistant of President Luo Zhong Xuan introduced some basic information of joint laboratory.
ZhangzidaoCompanywas founded in 1958. Under the support of marine biotechnology, it has become a comprehensive enterprise in marine leisure, fishery equipment and other related industries.
